Everything i make is from scratch.
What can be expected:
I start by taking individual measurments of the body, these are accurate measurments, that i will use to pad a mannequine or will be used to create paper patterns. They are the most important foundation of any bespoke garment.
Using these specific measurments, i then create a toile made from calico (or fabric that similarly resembles the chosen top fabric). This toile may be made using a combination of drafting on the stand or paper patterns.
A first fitting will then take place. I fit the toile to the body so it fits perfectly, alot of changes will take place at this stage.
After the first fitting i then go back to the sewing room and take apart the toile and make the adjustments and alterations decided in the fitting.
Then the fun begins... i get to play with and create out of beautiful sometimes expensive fabrics.
I cut out, mark up, overlock (sometimes), sew together, finish the chosen top fabric, to create a truely unique, one of a kind, bespoke garment.
To your specification x
